One of my favorite neighborhoods on James Island is tucked behind Fort Johnson Rd overlooking the Charleston Harbor and Ravenel Bridge.  This quaint hamlet is known as Eastwood and is within walking distance to the James Island Yacht Club.  The tip of the neighborhood has incredible views of the harbor with its own little sandy beach popular with a lot of JI locals who find pleasure in kayaking, walking their pups and bird watching throughout the year.
