Fall Events On and Around Kiawah and Seabrook Islands

Thinking of visiting Kiawah Island or Seabrook Island this fall? When choosing between the two destinations it would be impossible to make a bad decision.  Both are equally as beautiful, relaxing, and provide sufficient access to beaches, recreation areas, shopping and dining. Here is a sneak peek at some of the events that are happening on and around the islands this fall. 


45 minutes from the islands is the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. Every year the Fall Candlelight Tours of Homes and Gardens takes place many of the beautiful homes on the National Register of Historic Places are open for visitors to tour. This is a great chance to see the interior of the homes along the Battery and historic streets South of Broad!

On October 13, 2012 Kiawah Island will open it’s gates for the annual Tour of Homes as well. Come take a peek at the beautiful homes that sit along the ocean. This event benefits the Charleston Collegiate school. In November the Symphony also host a tour of homes and provides two live concerts for those attending.  

On November 3-4 the Greater Charleston Fine Arts Festival will be held. This is the perfect place to check out goods created by local artists and bring a piece of Charleston home with you from your vacation.

In addition to these events there are several other events taking place around the Charleston area, including: The Taste of Charleston, Boone Hall Farms Halloween Spectacular, and productions at The Dock Street Theatre.
